This website is operated by Colrosa Studios Ltd, company number 16810244, registered in England and Wales at Carpenter House, Broad Quay, Bath, BA1 1UD. “We” and “us” mean that company. “You” means whoever is reading the site.

What this website is

It describes what we do and how we work. It is information, not advice, and nothing on it is a recommendation for your particular business. If you read something here and act on it without talking to us, that is your decision rather than our advice.

Projects

Nothing on this site is an offer to contract. Work begins when we have both signed a written proposal setting out the scope, the price and the timescale. If that proposal and this page ever disagree, the proposal wins.

The numbers on this site

Every number on this website is worked out on paper from a job we describe beside it. None of them was measured at a named client, and none is a promise about your business. We publish the job next to the number so you can judge whether it resembles yours. When we have measured results we will say whose they are.

Intellectual property

The writing, the drawings, the system diagrams and the layout belong to us. You are welcome to quote from the site with attribution and a link. You are not welcome to reproduce the artwork or lift pages wholesale.

Links to other sites

We sometimes link out. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for what is on them.

Liability

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud — no one can. Beyond that, and so far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit or lost data arising from your use of this website.

Liability for work we are contracted to do is dealt with in that contract, not here.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
